YWCA of Boulder County Elects New Board Members

Boulder, Colo. -- The YWCA of Boulder County elected Gretchen Fapore, as its new President of the 2006-07 Board of Directors. In addition, the following individuals joined the 2006-07 Board:  Dorothy Bustamante, Margaret Katz Cann, Julie S. Erikson, Genni Kee, Beth Kelley, Heidi Kercher-Pratt, Amy Lieberman, Clare Lindsay, Jann Oldham, Sarah Pollock, Gwyneth Whalen, Joan Zerkovich and Dr. Isabel Zhu.

The YWCA stands for You, Women, Children, All of us.  Founded in 1922, the YWCA of Boulder County provides services for area families that protect children, empower women and girls, and work to eliminate racism.  In addition to offering the only emergency, drop-in childcare in Boulder County, the organization also provides women’s programs that build self-esteem and develop the skills necessary to stay economically self-sufficient.
