The YWCA stands for You, Women,
Children, All of us. We provide services for
Boulder County families that protect children, empower women and girls, and work
to eliminate racism. We have the only emergency, drop-in childcare center in
Boulder County. We also provide programs that build
self-esteem and develop the skills necessary to stay economically
self-sufficient. Our Mission The YWCA of Boulder County is a human service agency; its mission is to serve women and their families through programs designed to protect children, empower women and girls, and eliminate racism. Our Values We are a proactive organization dedicated to our mission to protect children, empower women and girls, and eliminate racism. We celebrate diversity and advocate for equality of all people. We promote empowerment through education focusing on resiliency and adaptability leading to economic self-sufficiency. We strive to create a community that provides resources, opportunities and choices for all women. We continually challenge ourselves to improve services to the community that emphasize collaboration, accountability, responsiveness and innovation. We are responsible stewards of resources to ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization to benefit women, children and their families.
