The EDGE Academy: The Girls Empowerment Program of the YWCA

The mission of the EDGE Academy is to empower girls with the skills and attitudes they need to take healthy risks, maintain high aspirations, and stay resilient in the face of difficulty.

Through hands-on projects and community involvement, the EDGE prepares girls to meet the challenges of their future by training them to be creative, confident, competitive and self-sufficient.
