DID YOU KNOW...
In 2007, 240 girls participated in the YWCA's EDGE: Girls Empowerment
Program. The program focuses
on leadership, resiliency and adaptability. |
|
There are many ways you can get involved in the YWCA. Over 150
women are directly involved as members. Each year over 100 people volunteer in
our programs and at fundraising events. In recent years company groups have
built a playground for Children’s Alley, laid sod for a play field, and painted
our building.
Donate Online Your donation to the YWCA will help us provide nutritious meals for the children
at Children's Alley, provide coaching to women leaving Welfare and reentering
the workforce, provide career counseling for laid off workers, provide support
for newly divorced parents as they learn to single or co-parent, or subsidize a
girl from a low-income family as she learns the skills she needs to build a
brighter future. We need your support -- donate today!
