Insight Speakers Announces Special YWCA Offer for their Fall Line Up

Insight Speaker Series is pleased to announce its inaugural 2008-2009 season in Denver. Starting in September, you can experience candid and relaxed evenings with world leaders, Pulitzer Prize winners, explorers, best-selling authors, leading edge scientists and celebrated personalities offering profound insights and lively discussions.   YWCA of Boulder County friends receive a special discount on tickets, details below.   Each event starts at 7PM and is held at the Wells Fargo Theatre in downtown Denver’s convention center.

• October 22, Desmond Tutu – Nobel Peace Prize winner and South African Reconciliation leader
• November 12, Reza Alan – Internationally acclaimed Middle East Expert and CBS commentator
• January 13, Charles Barkley – Basketball legend and political/social commentator
• February 10, Bob Woodward – Pulitzer prize winning political journalist
• March 5, Carole Baldwin – IMAX Galapagos marine biologist and deep ocean explorer
• April 14 , Dave Barry – Pulitzer Prize winning humorist   

In addition, we are partnering with a variety of local community groups and personalities to bring these speakers to you.  Mayor John Hickenlooper will be introducing Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Senator Hank Brown will moderate Reza Alan’s evening, Joyce Meskis of the Tattered Cover will introduce Isabel Allende with Tina Griego moderating the audience Q&A, and TR Reid of NPR and the Washington Post will be on stage with his friend, Dave Barry.
