Early Childhood Education & Childcare

The YWCA Children's Alley: Boulder County's only drop-in, emergency childcare center
Boulder County Head Start: a federally-funded child development program serving 3-5 year old children in Boulder County (except Longmont).
Boulder Day Nursery
City of Boulder-Children, Youth & Families Division: provides a child care directory along with other information and services
Colorado Office of Resource Referral Agencies (CORRA): statewide network of community-based resource and referral agencies
The Early Care and Education Council of Boulder County: working together to strengthen the system of quality child care and preschool education for Boulder County's children.

Girls-Only School Age Programming

The YWCA EDGE Program: The mission of the EDGE is to empower girls with the skills and attitudes they need to take healthy risks, maintain high aspirations, and stay resilient in the face of difficulty
Women's Wilderness Institute: offers wilderness experiences for women and teen girls in the Rocky Mountains and Southwestern deserts

Teenagers

Center for People With Disabilities hosts an After School Club for teenagers with disabilities ages 13-21.

Emergency Family Assistance: emergency shelter; rent, utilities, food and transportation assistance
Flatirons Habitat for Humanity: works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing.
The Inn Between of Longmont, Inc: to provide transitional housing and services for diverse homeless individuals and families to help them achieve self-sufficiency
Intercambio de Comunidades: to increase opportunities and independence for Latino immigrants and build a richer, more integrated community, by reducing language and cultural barriers in Boulder County.

MicroBusinessDevelopment: provides microenterprise support services including capital, business training and skill development, and networking.
Outreach United Resource Center (OUR): financial assistance and loans for rent & utilities, a food bank, clothing bank, thrift store, meals served at hospitality center, provide infant childcare, and childcare referrals
Project Self Sufficiency: to assist single parents and two-parent families in obtaining the education, skills and abilities necessary to move toward self-sufficiency

Crisis Care

Attention Homes: provides sheltering and counseling services in a home-like setting to thousands of at-risk teens
Blue Sky Bridge: support services to child victims of physical & sexual abuse & non-offending family members
Boulder County Health Department: programs to support behavioral (substance abuse), community (pregnancy, tobacco, high-risk youth), environmental, and family (immunization, food supplements) health
Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (formerly Boulder County Safehouse): human rights organization dedicated to ending violence.
Mental Health Center of Boulder County: a private, non-profit corporation offering mental health to people of all ages -- children, teens, adults and the elderly.
M.E.S.A. (Moving to End Sexual Assault): provides crisis counseling, advocacy and support to victims of sexual assault and their families.
Voices for Children: the project recruits and trains volunteers to work as CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates) who advocate for and provide service to child victims of abuse and neglect

The University of Colorado Office of Diversity and Equity focuses on creating a campus community where diversity is a fundamental value.

American Association of University Women: AAUW promotes equity for women and girls, lifelong education and positive societal change.

Legal Assistance

Boulder County Legal Services: to provide high quality legal services to low-income residents of Boulder County by counseling and education, representation in civil actions or administrative proceedings and helping with the establishment and maintenances of their legal rights
Legal Aid Defender Program: provides low cost legal services in a limited number of civil and criminal cases for indigent people in Boulder County

Professional Life

YWCA Career Services: offers job search assistance and career counseling on a sliding scale fee. Services include career assessment (testing), individual career counseling, career change groups, job search support groups and resume assistance
Boulder BPW: to promote full participation, equity, and economic self-sufficiency for working women
Business Woman's Leadership Group-Boulder Chamber of Commerce: to provide the community of businesswomen with education, leadership, recognition, and business opportunities through informative and professional programs
Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce: making an economic community where members excel at business, leadership, and their professions
Colorado Women in Technology (CWIT): Promoting the success of Colorado's women in technology through the time-honored techniques of networking and education

Marriage/Divorce & Parenting

YWCA Divorce Education: workshops and information sessions that give divorcing parents options on how to take effective action for themselves and their children
Boulder County Clerk & Recorder: Obtaining a Marriage License in Boulder County
Genesis: The goal of the GENESIS Program is to promote healthy parenting practices within teen parent families in Boulder County.
Coparent Solutions - Level II Divorce Education for higher-conflict parents -- Shirley Thomas PhD & Steve Gimpel, LMFT. A 10 hour program for parents living apart (303)772-4450 & (303)554-6710.
Parenting Place: to relieve isolation, reduce the stress of parenting by providing outreach and a place where families can receive support, education, and develop a sense of community
Partners in Parenting: a multifaceted skill-based prevention program that focuses on strengthening family relationships and promoting positive behaviors and lifestyles. Partners in Parenting, a joint project of CSU Coop Extension and Red Rocks Community College, produces a quarterly publication for parents, Parenting Matters, which addresses parenting issues and concerns.
Single Parent Resource Directory: developed by PSS / FSS of the Boulder County Housing Authority to continue to spread the good word about community resources available for single parents
St. Vrain Valley Parenting Center: to promote healthy parenting in the St. Vrain Valley through collaborative community involvement by nurturing, education and support of diverse families

Pregnancy & Healthcare

Boulder County Aids Project (BCAP): provides support, advocacy and education to those in our community who are infected or affected by HIV
Boulder Valley Women's Health Center: committed to reproductive freedom and provides a full range of community education and gynecological health care services for all women with respect for differences in income, race, disability, ethnicity, creed, age or sexual orientation, in a caring environment that preserves women's dignity and confidentiality
Clinica Campesina: provides family medical services to low-income people for a sliding scale fee.
Dental Aid: to provide affordable and accessible dental care to children and adults who will otherwise go without
People's Clinic: provides health care to the medically indigent
Plan De Salud Del Valle Family Health Center: provides quality, comprehensive primary health services

Mid-Life & Aging

YWCA Wise Women: provides women 45-65 with resources for their mid-life transition
City of Boulder Senior Services: programs and services to improve the quality of life for our community's 9,000-plus senior citizens and their families
Boulder Community Network Senior Center: providing information on resources for seniors
Boulder County Aging Services: to promote the health and well-being of older adults
by building on individual, family, and community strengths
