YWCA's Infant Development Center

Specifically designed for infants ages six weeks to 18 months old

If you are a new parent seeking permanent childcare or if you need a backup when your current provider is unavailable, the YWCA's The Infant Development Center is an ideal solution for you. For more than 30 years, the YWCA has provided individualized, caring attention to infants and children.

The Infant Development Center offers a separate area geared toward the needs of our youngest infants. 

The center features a range of benefits, such as:

  • Care for infants is provided by a trained Infant Nursery Supervisor with 30 years of experience
     
  • Feeding, naps and playtime are geared around your infant's current schedule to ensure she/he is comfortable and happy during her/his stay
     
  • Formula is provided for your infant or you can supply your own formula/breast milk (bottle warmers are used before feeding infants
     
  • A cozy eat-in "kitchen" and rocking chairs for feeding infants
     
  • A quiet napping room
     
  • An indoor play area with age appropriate toys and experiences
     
  • A gated outdoor area that features a covered surface and an awning to further protect infants
