Finding Your Writer’s Voice: Creative Writing for Girls Stretch your imagination through this playful and participatory writing class for girls. Along with writing stories, girls will use computers to add graphics and photographs to their work, expanding their creative experience. No previous computer experience necessary. Techno Arts For Girls Girls will enjoy digital photography and learning basic computer software programs enabling them to turn their photos into exciting projects. No previous computer experience necessary. Two Camp Sessions

TechnoPhotos - Photography Fun for Girls Girls will begin each day by learning about the FUNdmentals of photography. Once they have their photos, the fun begins! They transform their photos using filters, color adjustments, retouching tools, layer styles, shapes, text, and selection options. Photos are then arranged to create scrapbook pages and movies. Adventure for Girls Let your creativity climb to new heights as you enhance your writing skills in this energetic camp. We will spend one day rock climbing* to help you explore your daring spirit of adventure and risk-taking, and then write about our experience. Expert women climbers will teach you climbing basics and how to stay safe. Dates: June 23 - 26, 2008 Location: Classes will run 9 am to Noon on Mon, Tue, Thur at the YWCA. On Wed, the class will meet from 9 am to 2 pm at the Spot Bouldering Gym located at 3240 Prairie Avenue in Boulder. *Rock Climbing will be taught by The Woman’s Wilderness Institute at The Spot in Boulder. No previous experience is necessary.
