YWCA Programs

The YWCA of Boulder County offers a wide range of programs benefiting women, children and their families. Click on the program names below to link to that specific program web page.

Career Services – We offer one-on-one sessions to help clients to clarify their skills and interests, identify career paths, provide job search coaching and assist in writing resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and more. Fees based on a sliding scale.

Children’s Alley – Boulder’s only drop-in, temporary childcare center that serves children ages six weeks to 12 years old and offers extended hours including evenings and Saturdays.

Co-Parenting For Life – Teaches strategies on effective parenting and communication to help families through the challenges of a divorce.

Digital Divas - Computer and technology classes for women by women. Classes help enhance computer skills and overall technical confidence that build better employment opportunities. In addition, the program also features classes focusing on creative topics such as digital photography.

EDGE Academy: The YWCA Girls’ Empowerment Program  Prepares girls to meet the challenges of the future by teaching the skills and behaviors needed to be resilient, take healthy risks and increase confidence.

Family Resource Center Offers a continuum of support to families facing multiple barriers to their economic success and emotional well-being. The center also offers parent education workshops and financial literacy classes.

YWCA Public Policy Committee – Through a collaboration with the Boulder County Movement for Children, the YWCA advocates for positive change on issues related to children’s needs, empowering women and girls, and eliminating racism.
