Children's Alley - Voted #1 Childcare Center in the 2006 and 2007 Boulder County Gold People's Choice Awards

Children’s Alley is Boulder’s only temporary, drop-in childcare center serving families for more
than 20 years.

We offer benefits such as:

  • Serving children ages six weeks to 12 years old
  • Sliding scale rates
  • Extended hours including evenings and Saturdays
  • Nutritious meals and snacks
  • Flexible scheduling - as little as two hours at a time, or
parents can arrange a short-term daily contract extending
    up to six weeks

Call us at 303-449-1951 for your drop-in and/or temporary childcare needs.

Families turn to Children's Alley when they have a sudden or temporary need for child care, such as:

  • When the regular child care provider is unavailable
  • Parents have a class, a job interview, or a doctor's appointment
  • When parents simply need a break from the stress of childcare

We are a great alternative to a babysitter because:

  • We provide a safe, socially enriching, multi-cultural play environment.

  • We have excellent care provided by CPR-FIRST-AID certified teachers who have had extensive background checks.

  • Most of our teachers are graduate students with undergraduate degrees related to Early Childhood. Current Art-Music-Movement and Wilderness-Therapy students contribute to our developmentally appropriate curriculum, weekly themes and walking field trips.

  • Excellent staff/child ratios

  • Three healthy meals and snacks daily--at NO extra cost to you!

  • Scheduling is flexible and accommodating--including up to 6 weeks of contract care per year (please inquire with the Director)

  • Care year-round--even during most holiday and school closures!
