  • Focus on the types of careers best suited for your personality and interests.

  • Discover the strengths and benefits of your personality style for work, communication, learning and leadership

  • Learn the most effective job search strategies for your personality

  • Have your assessment results interpreted by an experienced career counselor

  • Multiple "next steps" related to career exploration

Types of Assessments

Need a new career and don't know where to start? Career assessment testing can help.

  • The Strong Interest Inventory is the most widely used and best validated career test in the country. It tells you how your patterns of interests compare to happily employed people in over 200 different occupations. When you match interests with people who are happy in a career, you are much more likely to be happy yourself.

  • The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator measures your preferences on four core aspects of personality. From your scores you can see which of 16 personality groups you are most like. Although many different personality preferences can work in an job, people with certain types tend to enjoy some occupations more than others. This inventory is often validating for people who are not quite sure why they prefer particular tasks or work environment over others. Understanding personality preferences can also be very helpful in working through conflicts and improving communications in the workplace.

How to Take the Assessments

Need a new career and don't know where to start? Career assessment testing can help.

  • Both Inventories: You can take both inventories as a package. The package includes both inventories and a total of three hours counseling. Before taking the assessment inventories, you will have a one-hour appointment with a career counselor to discuss background information that will be helpful in making the best use of assessment results. Many clients find discussing career likes and dislikes gives them insight that help with career decision-making.

Appointments

You need to make an appointment to take one of both tests. Day and evening appointments are available. Call 303-443-0419 for an appointment.

Costs

Costs for these inventories are on a sliding-scale, based on family income.
