YWCA Boulder County offers Boulder's only low-cost, personalized career counseling and job search coaching.
Our staff is committed to helping clients achieve career clarity and learn job search skills. Through one-on-one sessions, we are able to help clients write resumes, prepare for interviews, identify skills, and find careers that match their interests and work styles. YWCA Career Services serves both men and women of all ages, incomes, and life-stages. We work with people in career transition, those seeking greater career satisfaction, the unemployed, and underemployed.
We help clients assess their past career experience and where and how to find greater satisfaction. YWCA uses many resources and tools to help clients translate prior experience in to employable skills, find careers that match interests and work styles, write resumes, prepare for interviews, and develop networking skills.
Fees for individualized career counseling sessions are based on a sliding scale, depending on size of family and annual family income. Rates range from $33 to $139 per session.

Resume Workshop for Mothers Returning to Work
Learn how to highlight your skills and experience in a combination of chronological and functional resume formats, effectively brand yourself and learn tips to explain gaps in work history, complete the resume checklist to make your resume stand out! Upcoming session: May 16, 12-2 pm, $20 per person, register online.
Housing and childcare expenses, a low credit score, and other factors can make it challenging to achieve self-sufficiency. YWCA is here to give clients the tools to empower themselves through personalized, free financial counseling sessions with an expert! Topics can include: personal finance, budgeting, identify theft protection, college funding, the basics of investment, and more.
Clients must bring requested financial documents to your sessions to ensure the financial counselor has the information needed for a productive discussion to benefit you. This list of requested documents will be shared with you when you register.
