Teri Eastburn

Teresa (Teri) Eastburn moved from Santa Cruz, California, to Boulder in 1997 with her husband and three children. With a background in developmental/cognitive psychology, multimedia, and educational leadership, she went to work for the Boulder Valley School District while simultaneous launching her own multimedia and video production company. In 2002, she combined her passions at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) where she managed the organization's School and Public Programs from 2005-2013. Today, Teri serves as their Ed Tech Manager and serves as the Lead for new web effort called UCARConnect that connects UCAR and its many services to its 100+ University members and educators and others interested in Earth science research and happenings. She keeps her multimedia skills up-to-date producing various products and videos for NCAR exhibits, websites, and more. She particularly enjoys staying abreast of the rapid advances in distance learning and Web analytics and helping NCAR's education division be responsive to the needs of today's science teachers and learners, as well as the trends influencing the workforce of tomorrow. She is honored to be a member of the YWCA Board of Directors and to have an opportunity to serve and give back.

Janet Eden-Harris Past-President

Janet Eden-Harris has spent a career helping large and small companies grow, from leading marketing and strategy at large public companies, building international teams, to successfully growing a Colorado high tech start up company as CEO. Currently running her business consulting organization Eden-Harris Group, Janet is also devoting more time to pursuits she enjoys, including serving the YWCA as Board Member, mentoring other young entrepreneurs, spending time with her far-flung family, stealing time away to indulge her passion for singing, and helping local airlines make their quarterly revenue by earning frequent flyer miles that seem to never be redeemed.

Sue Fagan President 

Sue Fagan has been a long-term volunteer with many organizations over the past 20 years, with a passion for organizations that help children and families. She is a Victim Advocate with the Boulder Police Department, she has been PTO President at both Mackintosh Academy and Foothill Elementary, and she has both led and supported events for There With Care for six years. Before moving to Boulder, Sue and her family lived in Northern California for 5 years. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Sales and Account Management at MBS Multimode, and she has over 10 years of experience in direct marketing and business development. Sue has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Business Institutions from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She is an avid skier, tennis player, and horseback rider, and she enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling with her family.

Joanne Graham Vice President  

Joanne grew up in Boulder, CO.  She has built a career at the  National Center for Atmospheric Research where she is currently the assistant director of the High Altitude Observatory lab.  Joanne has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's in Nonprofit Management, both from Regis University in Denver. She and her husband, Scott, and have two wonderful grown children and one lovely daughter-in-law. Her family is her heart and soul. Joanne is a passionate skier, cyclist and yogi. She also loves to cook and is lucky to sing in a local a capella group called 3 Story Limit and Generations Community Choir.   She is an animal lover, but especially loves the canine variety when it comes to her pets (don't tell the cat).  Joanne does drop-in volunteer work whenever she can and was a volunteer ski instructor for adults and children with disabilities for over 15 years.

Michaela Hayes Treasurer

Michaela Hayes has recently joined Elevations Credit Union after working with KeyBank for just under 8 years as Assistant Vice President for the Boulder office. Before moving to Colorado, Michaela worked and lived in the NY region where she was on the steering committee for Key4Women for 3 years. She currently volunteers for the Broomfield Wildlife Masters Program and enjoys educating the public on how to cohesively live with our wildlife. Michaela enjoys hiking in the mountains, cooking, and reading.

Nan Joesten President-Elect 

Nan Joesten is the principal and founder of Rapid Evolution, LLC, a consulting firm devoted to accelerating professional development and organizational success. Nan graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and worked for Procter and Gamble for 10 years in manufacturing and brand management before earning her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Nan created her former law firm’s women’s leadership development program and was appointed co-chair of the national women’s trial lawyers’ committee in the American Bar Association.  Nan remains active in the legal profession, providing pro bono representation through Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network.  A believer in education, Nan serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Colorado Foundation and the CU-Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science BOLD (Broadening Opportunity Through Leadership And Diversity) Center’s Advisory Board.  She is also a member of Boulder Rotary Club and First Congregational Church.

Denny Kercher Board Advisor

Dennice (Denny) 0. Kercher has been actively involved in research in the area of understanding attributes of excellence in leadership and organizations. She brings her years of skills, experience and expertise to the arena of teaching managers the meaning of excellence in practical and usable ways. Denny has been involved in developing training curriculum in the areas of leadership and management training, as well as developing customized courses and presentations in coaching, communication, conflict resolution, team-building, and managing stress and burnout to achieve balance. She has over 25 years experience working with diverse groups in the public and private sector and has written a book: “I’m Juggling as Fast as I Can: Managing Stress, Avoiding Burnout, and Achieving Balance”. She has advanced degrees in Psychology, Business and Theology

Lisa Lesniak

Lisa Lesniak was born in Buffalo, NY, and grew up in Dallas, TX. She received a BA in International Relations from Tufts University in Boston, MA and a JD from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. She practiced law with various firms and on her own from 1992 until 2009. Her areas of practice included general practice, plaintiff’s asbestos litigations, general business law, litigation and acquisition. During her legal career, she volunteered at her sons’ schools and with other community ventures. She and her husband of 25 years moved with their sons to Boulder in 2008. They chose Boulder for a change in lifestyle, more outdoor activity and the environmentally-minded community. Having been diagnosed with Lupus, an auto-immune disease, as a freshman in college, she eventually received a kidney transplant in 2009. Since then, her health has improved and she remains as busy as ever with various business and volunteer activities. She enjoys spending time with her family and inspiring healthy living.

Anna Linn 

Born in Denver and raised in Conifer, Anna is very passionate about the state of Colorado and those in it. Anna currently works as the Assistant Director of Corporate and External Relations at the Leeds School of Business at CU Boulder. In 2012, Anna graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Sociology. In her current role, Anna is able to combine her love of people and Colorado in a way that broadly impacts students, the community, and businesses. Anna currently volunteers as the membership coordinator for the CU Young Alumni Chapter in Denver, which aims to provide meaningful connections throughout the CU alumni-base, and the Denver community. She also participates as a member of the Boulder Leading Ladies professional group. An organization that strives to empower women and support their personal and professional goals. In her free time, Anna can be found outdoors (heliophile for life), traveling (most recent adventures include the Netherlands and Brussels), dancing (to anything and everything), and hanging with friends and family (where are all my middle children at?!).

Ema Lyman Secretary

Ema Lyman was born and raised in Chile, South America, and immigrated to the US in 1980. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and Planning- 1982 and Master’s degree in Bilingual, Multicultural and ESL Education- 2009, from CU Boulder. Ema has three adult children and three grandchildren. Worked at Boulder Valley School District since 2004, and is currently a Specialist for the BVSD McKinney Vento Program-Homeless Assistance Act. Ema is a volunteer reader for Reading to End Racism and a volunteer for EFAA as part of their Program Development Committee. Interest and hobbies include: public service and social justice; arts, design, and literature; gardening, cooking, swimming, reading, watching foreign films, listening to all music, and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Susana Lopez-Baker

Susana Lopez-Baker began working with Boulder County Community Action Programs as the Program Coordinator for Circles, PERL and Creating Connections in August 2012. She began working as the Boulder County Program Coach for the Circles Campaign, a nationwide initiative to end poverty, in 2016. Susana is also an instructor at Front Range Community College and Dance Coach at an area high school. Previous to working for CAP, Susana worked with the Adams County Workforce and Business Center, State of Indiana, and multiple Community Colleges. Susana remains dedicated to improving the inclusion efforts in Boulder County. She is involved with the Diversity Task Force and Leadership Sub-Committee for the City of Longmont’s Multicultural Action Committee. Susana is also the president of the Brighton Montessori Board of Directors. Susana has a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Sociology from Adams State University and a Master’s Degree in Human Behaviors and Society from Valparaiso University.

Aliena Martinez

Aliena Martinez has spent more than 15 years running Product Management, Marketing and Training programs in both large organizations and start-ups. She is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Latino Leadership Institute (LLI) at the University of Denver. She is responsible for identifying opportunities with and for new partners and developing strategies for increasing revenue to support the Institute’s strategic growth objectives, such as the newly developed Impact Initiative. Prior, Aliena served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Products at Miller Heiman Group leading the product organization and the integration efforts of several companies acquired. Her professional growth is mirrored by her personal commitment to serving the community as both mentor and leader. A Colorado native, she volunteers with several organizations and is currently a board member of the 13ers Young Professionals Board – The Nature Conservancy of Colorado.

Siân Murphy

Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Siân is well acquainted with the area. She works for WK Real Estate. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During her college years Siân also studied abroad at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. After graduating Siân was selected for an internship with the United States Ski and Snowboard Association in Park City, Utah. Currently, Siân is the Chair of YPN at BARA  (Young Professionals Network at Boulder Area Realtor Association). She heads up the Smart Money Smart Moves Program which is a program that helps educate high school students about renting properties as they move on to the next chapter in life. In 2015 and 2017 Siân was the youngest recipient that received the President’s Award from the Boulder Area REALTORS® Association for her exceptional service to the association. Siân is also the co-founder of the networking group Boulder Leading Ladies (BLL). Which brings young, career driven professionals together to build successful relationships and set a standard for excellence within the community through educational, philanthropic, and social events. Siân was an honoree of the BizWest Boulder Valley 40 under Forty class of 2017. 40 Under Forty recognizes emerging young leaders in Boulder and Broomfield counties who make a difference in their companies, industries and communities. During her free time Siân enjoys skiing, running, playing on her rec sports teams, ski instructing, traveling, hanging out with family and friends and supporting her University of Colorado Buffaloes at sporting events.

Amy Reichlin 

Amy Mechels Reichlin, founder of Amy Reichlin Consulting, is a local coach, facilitator, and trainer in the areas of all things people: Leadership, Teams, Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness, and more.  Amy has an MBA (Kellogg), Masters in Psychology (Naropa), Coaching Certificate, and certificates from the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute and Leadership Circle Profile. She is also a mentor at Techstars, Mergelane, and Travelport startup accelerators. Her eclectic background and various roles (marketing, product development, research, strategy, business development, fundraising, coaching) allow her to relate to many diverse clients and experiences. She has also done systems work in for-profit, non-profit and academic settings. Creativity, awareness, and skill building are at the heart of her approach, coupled with a love for people, an optimistic outlook, and delight in watching individuals and organizations thrive when equipped with knowledge and tools that can make all the difference. 

Nancy Rowe 

Nancy has worked in the financial services and payment processing industry for 20+ years, including Visa Inc, IBM Corp and smaller startups such as ClearCommerce and  She is a native Californian, born in Los Angeles. Nancy received her BA in International Relations/Political Science from Scripps College: one of the Claremont Colleges.  Outside of her corporate life, Nancy is passionate about the culinary arts. She graduated first in her class from the Los Angeles Culinary Institute and became the sole proprietor of a small business, benitohouse-culinary.  Nancy has continually been engaged in philanthropic activities since graduating from college supporting non-profits in various capacities including CASA of San Mateo, Share Our Strength and PARCA. She moved to Boulder from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2015 with her husband and golden retriever, Posey. She still loves to cook and enjoy adventure traveling and skiing.

Brittny Wilson  

Brittny Wilson was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She moved to Colorado in 2008 to pursue her graduate degree from Naropa University in Comparative Religion and found herself staying to start a family and build her career. Brittny has spent the last 15 years working in the nonprofit sector and is currently the Sr. Vice President of Development & Marketing at the long-standing Boulder-based nonprofit Attention Homes. She loves connecting donors to a mission and working for organizations that are geared towards helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency. Brittny is a member of the Longmont Housing Opportunities Team, a participant in the 2015-2016 class of the Institute for Leaders in Development with the University of Denver and an honoree of the Bizwest Boulder Valley 40 Under 40 class of 2017. She and her husband are kept busy at home with two young daughters and a new pup. On the weekends she can be found camping with her family, watching Buckeye football (Go Bucks!) or finding balance (both literally and figuratively) at a local yoga class.
