Meet the Co-Directors of Persimmon Early Learning
Julia French, Co-Director, Persimmon Early Learning
Julia joined the YWCA in May 2024 while serving as a Marketing and Development intern. Since then, she has taken on administrative roles in Persimmon Early Learning including Front Office Assistant, which then advanced to Front Office Coordinator, running both the front desk and enrollment processes. She now serves as Co-Director at PEL, focusing on operations, licensing, and planning. From assisting in classrooms and preparing meals to partnering with parents and teachers daily, Julia loves being part of this community. She holds an Associate Degree in Communications and is actively pursuing additional early child education training to better support PEL.
Linda Hamilton, Co-Director, Persimmon Early Learning
Linda was born and raised in Colorado and began her career in early childhood education as an infant teacher 14 years ago. She received her Early Childhood Professional Credential in 2012. She has been certified as an Infant Program Supervisor since 2019 and joined Persimmon Early Learning’s infant team in June 2022. After earning her directors license in 2024, Linda recently took on the Co-Director role at PEL, providing leadership, structure, and professional guidance to the teaching team. She misses day-to-day time with the infants, but she is also excited to support the teachers, students, staff, and wonderful families in the new role.
