STEM E3 Sessions Fill Quickly

Last month YWCA's STEM E3 program held two exciting and packed Jam Sessions for our middle school students, leaving them energized for a future in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM).

STEM E3 at Google in Boulder

On April 22, more than 50 students from multiple schools in Boulder Valley School District joined us at Google in Boulder for a fun-filled afternoon of coding, panel sessions and a tour of Google's facilities. Many students left with a newfound interest in coding and insight into the world of STEM for girls and girls of color.

STEM E3 at Seagate Technology in Longmont

The excitement continued on April 26 as we took STEM E3 to St. Vrain Valley School District for a Jam Session at Seagate Technology, the leader in mass data storage solutions. We enjoyed all Seagate had to offer, including a tour of labs where thousands of storage drives are created and tested, and an activity where students were able to dismantle their own drive. Students also heard from Seagate's employees about the many different career paths that exist in the world of STEM E3.

The 2023-2024 school year has been STEM E3-filled and we can't wait for our next Jam Session in the Fall. Stay tuned to our calendar for future dates to register.
