Latin Pop Band "Lolita" to Perform at Gala
Lolita is a rising Mexican-American pop artist who fearlessly explores themes ranging from police brutality to poverty and cultural stereotypes, utilizing music as a vehicle for change and unity. Her musical journey began with a resounding impact in 2019, with her first solo release Toda Mi Gente. Raised in Denver's Five Points neighborhood and later settling in Aurora, she intimately understands the challenges faced by her community. Through her music, Lolita not only sheds light on these issues but actively engages in fostering solutions, which extend beyond performances to impactful artist residencies with local schools and organizations. Get ready for the fun part of the event! Auctioneer Debbie Scheer will take us through different donation levels and guests will "raise their paddles" to contribute money.
Your paddle raiser donation is eligible for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, which can significantly lower the net cost of your donation.

We invite you to dress to feel your best with the suggestion of "cocktail chic" attire for the evening.

When you purchased your table, you should have automatically received two emails - an email receipt and an email with a link to update your guests' info. Find this second email and forward it to your guests so they can enter their info to receive important pre-event info and instructions.

Attendees have a choice of chicken, fish and vegan entrees. Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies, including gluten free. Entrées:
• Chicken piccata: whipped potatoes, roasted broccolini, mushrooms, capers, herbs & lemon butter (gluten free)
• Coconut crusted tilapia: mango salsa, sweet potato hash, grilled asparagus (dairy free, gluten free)
• Acorn squash: wild rice, toasted pecans, goat cheese (vegetarian, vegan upon request)

On Saturday, you will receive a Welcome Text with your personalized donation link (do not share this). Click the link and you will be directed to our mobile donation site. During the Live Event, you will see a green "Give Live" button appear, which you'll use for the Paddle Raiser.
If you did not receive a Welcome Text, text ywcaboulder (one word, no capital letters) to 56651 and you will receive the link to the mobile donation site.
All registered guests will get a unique, personal link to give. Do not share this link with anyone because it will be tied to your credit card.
