Women's Empowerment Day at the Capitol
Join us on Tuesday, April 7th for Women's Empowerment Day at the Capitol!
A day rooted in courage, connection, and collective action. At YWCA Boulder County, we believe that when women, allies and communities raise their voices together, real change happens. This is an opportunity to stand in solidarity, engage directly with policymakers, and advocate for policies that advance safety, equity, and opportunity for all. Whether you're new to advocacy or a seasoned changemaker, your presence matters. Come be part of a powerful day that embraces our shared commitment to eliminating racism and empowering women.
After you register, you'll also be invited to advocacy training and discussions of the pending bills so you're prepared to be a changemaker.

10th Anniversary of Reading to End Racism at the YWCA
Capital One Job Skills Training Workshop
Led by Capital One at YWCA Boulder County. Resume writing and one-on-one interviewing workshop to help prepare high school seniors to have more interviews!
We will start at the Capitol One café and get free café drinks! Then we will walk to the YWCA (a 10-minute walk) for the workshop!
Holiday Gift Drive
Persimmon Early Learning would be so grateful for the donation of gift cards and any NEW winter gear (coats, boots, mittens, hats, etc.) for children ages newborn to 12 years old, along with new toys, games, books, outdoor items, or art supplies.
November 13 – December 8 Gifts can be dropped off in our lobby at 2222 14th St. in Boulder any time from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
November 27 - December 8 Families can make an appointment to pick up gifts by calling the Persimmon office at 303-449-1951. No drop-ins for gift pick-up, you must schedule a reserved time for gift pick-up over the phone
December 11 – December 15 Gift pick-up (must have an appointment).
